These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lighthouse Stay website and your booking and stay at our apartment located in Aarhus Ø, Denmark. By making a reservation or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Lighthouse Stay is a privately hosted short-term rental property. The property is managed by an individual host, not a professional hospitality company. Consumer legislation applicable to professional hosts may not apply.

Reservations can be made through Airbnb, Booking.com, or by contacting us directly. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

• A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from the booking platform or directly from us
• The maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Exceeding this limit is not permitted
• You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation
• Accurate guest information must be provided at the time of booking
• Special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed

• Self check-in is available via lockbox. Access instructions are provided before arrival
• A valid photo ID and credit card are required at check-in
• Please notify us of your expected arrival time
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but is not guaranteed
• Guests under 18 must check in with a parent or official guardian

By booking, you agree to comply with the following house rules. Violation of these rules may result in termination of your stay without refund.

• No smoking inside the apartment. Smoking is permitted on the balcony only
• No parties, events, or large gatherings
• Quiet hours apply after 10:00 PM
• Shoes must be removed at the entrance
• Pets are allowed with prior approval and may incur an additional fee
• Waste must be disposed of in closed bags using the waste chute
• The apartment must be left in a tidy condition at check-out

Cancellation and prepayment policies depend on the booking platform used. Please review the specific terms on Airbnb or Booking.com when making your reservation.

For direct bookings, the cancellation policy will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. In general, cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to charges.

No-shows and early departures are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Lighthouse Stay is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience suffered by guests during their stay, except where caused by our negligence.

We are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to keep valuables secure and to arrange their own travel insurance.

We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control, including but not limited to power outages, internet disruptions, elevator maintenance, or building works.

Guests are responsible for keeping the apartment and its contents in good condition throughout their stay. Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning requirements will be charged to the guest.

A damage deposit of up to DKK 1,500 may be charged through the booking platform. If damage exceeds the deposit amount, the guest may be liable for additional costs.

Please report any pre-existing damage or maintenance issues upon arrival so we can address them promptly.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

All content on the Lighthouse Stay website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by Lighthouse Stay or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use related to your booking.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
